Omelette du Fromage is a work for stereo playback that draws on a vivid memory from my childhood: a recurring episode of Dexter’s Laboratory in which language, repetition, and

absurdity collide. As my first electronic composition, this piece also functions as a personal laboratory—a space for experimentation, discovery, and play.

All of the sonic material is generated through a musique concrète approach. The work is built from recordings of duct tape, vocal sounds, and metallic bowls, which are transformed and

recontextualized to create a tightly woven electroacoustic texture. Through these everyday materials, the piece explores the reinterpretation of past experiences and the tactile qualities of

sound, embracing the spirit of trial and error that defines both the cartoon reference and my own early explorations in electronic music.
